Our mission is to ensure every student leaves Rudheath articulate, resilient, compassionate and culturally aware.
We believe all children should have the opportunity to understand the purpose of what they are learning and why they are learning it. Our school ethos of excellence and kindness is embedded into all aspects of the school curriculum.
We also recognise the importance of learning beyond the classroom. This will encourage all children to see the world of possibilities beyond their normal taught environment. Examples of such opportunities include: Guest Speaker, Trips and Visits, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Science Experiment and Theatre Productions. This will support our students in their own personal development.
Our curriculum is broad and balanced; we place equal value on academic, creative and technical subjects. Therefore, all students have the opportunity to study English, Maths, Science, Modern Foreign Languages, History, Geography, PE and ICT/Computing, Music, Drama, Art, Design and Technology, and Food Technology. Below you will find more information about our subjects.
