Their journey began like no other: their Year 6 education came to an abrupt end with the country entering lockdown and they began their Secondary journey in bubbles, and wearing masks. Despite these extraordinary challenges the class of 2025 have worked exceptionally hard demonstrating a great deal of determination, positivity and resilience. They have adapted and thrived developing lasting friendships and have supported each other to strive to be their very best. It has been wonderful to speak with students and parents about student successes and next steps, and I wish all of our students the very best luck for their future success and happiness. I look forward to following your stories and achievements on the exciting paths that lie ahead.’
Chair of Governors, Mrs. Rigby has commented:‘It is wonderful to see this year the students and staff’s hard work pay off with pupils gaining improving results giving them to access their next steps in education and employment. As a school, the year on year improvement in outcomes and the narrowing of gaps for student groups is evidence of the impact Excellence and Kindness can have on outcomes and opportunities for students. I am sure the students and staff are looking forward to returning in September and continuing the journey with Excellence and Kindness.’
