Inclusion

Support & Inclusion

At The Rudheath Senior Academy, we work hard to provide appropriate support to all students. If a student has a specific educational need we will try our best to ensure learning is supported.

If you wish to discuss learning support please get in touch to make a personal appointment.

You can either contact us by email: admin@rudheathsenioracademy.org.uk

Or by phone: 01606 42515

We pledge to respect and value every learner as an individual, irrespective of ability, race, gender or need, and to enable every learner to participate fully in all aspects of RSA life.

Where it’s needed, we will adapt our environment and equipment as much as practicably possible, as well as seeking specialist external advice.

What Inclusion Means to Us

Inclusion is more than just a principle—it is a daily practice. We:

  • Celebrate diversity in all its forms, including culture, language, ability, and background.
  • Ensure equal access to learning opportunities for every student.
  • Foster kindness, empathy, and respect within our school community.
  • Support each child’s individual strengths, talents, and needs.

How We Put Inclusion Into Practice

  • Curriculum: Our lessons reflect a wide range of voices, perspectives, and experiences.
  • Support: We provide tailored resources and specialist support when needed, so every student can succeed.
  • Community: We actively encourage collaboration between students, families, and staff to create a strong sense of belonging.
  • Accessibility: We work to make all aspects of school life accessible, from classrooms to extracurricular activities.
