Rudheath Senior Academy has an agreed admissions limit of 168 pupils in Year 7.

Applications to Rudheath Senior are made through the Local Authority admissions scheme. Parents are required to complete the application form supplied by the local authority.

Rudheath Senior will operate the same admissions arrangements as Cheshire West and Chester Council. The North West Academies Trust, as the admitting body for the school, adhere to Cheshire West and Chester Determined Admission Arrangements for maintained schools.

Key dates for transfer from primary to secondary school in September 2020 are as follows:

1 September 2019

Application process started – online application facility open, booklet available containing important information regarding the admissions process

31 October 2019              

Closing date for applications to be returned to the Council

2 March 2020

Online applicants can view the school place offered by logging into their online account – offer letters posted

30 March 2020

Closing date for appeal applications

By 16 June 2020

For parents/carers applying for secondary school places outside of the normal intake in September 2020, and for all other in-year transfers to secondary schools, applications should be made via the Cheshire West and Chester website
