We believe that first impressions count. We also believe that every child, parent or visitor to Rudheath Senior Academy should have the best ‘customer’ experience.

That’s right, we believe that every child, parent or visitor, should be treated like a valued customer.

As the first point of call at Rudheath Senior Academy, it is imperative that our front of house team get this right, that they have the desire to communicate positively with our customers – be it on the phone, in person or on social media platforms.

Communication is key to establishing strong positive relationships with our children and parents.

Front of house is not just about answering the phones and welcoming guests, it’s integral to the safeguarding of our children, it’s about understanding and knowing how the school operates and anticipating needs and wants of pupils, parents, staff and visitors.

We are looking for an individual with skills and the personality that can maintain calm, be professional and engage with a group of teenagers in a positive way, whilst never detracting from the client focused task at hand.

The individual also needs to have a great sense of humour, and to be a team player to support all involved with the school.

Rudheath Senior Academy is part of The North West Academies Trust, one of the highest performing trusts in the country. Our aim at Rudheath is to become a centre of excellence and the first choice for parents who want the best education for their children.

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise the demands of a busy reception area.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, with a commitment to working as part of a small team.
  • Good attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of leaving everyone you meet with a positive impression of our academy.
  • An engaging personality, with the ability to remain calm at all times.
  • Previous experience of working in a busy office/reception environment would be an advantage.

Duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Taking pride in ensuring our front of house is always immaculate and visitor ready.
  • Greeting visitors to the academy in a welcoming and friendly professional manner, ensuring all their needs are met.
  • Managing phone calls to the academy in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Supporting the admin team and SLT with managing the academy diary and ensuring emails sent to our admin email account are dealt with accordingly.

This is an exciting and varied role for the right person, so if you feel that you have the right skills and personality and would like to apply, please download an application form from our website www.rudheathsenioracademy.org.uk and email to Louise Dunkerley at ldunkerley@nwatrust.co.uk by 12 noon on Friday 28th February 2020.
