British Army STEM Event
Year 8 students at Rudheath Senior Academy attended a STEM activity delivered by the British Army. Students were assigned their mission – to build a robot that would clear a route for aid workers coded: “Operation Disaster Relief”.
Each group built their robot and used computer coding to programme its route. After 3 hours of work, all groups pitted their robot (and coding skills) against each other until we had an overall winner. the winners were Leah, Callum, Nathan, Katie and Madalena. Well done to you all, you worked well as teams and showed great resilience with the coding. Thanks to Matt and Jason from the British Army STEM .
